Our package prices, unless otherwise indicated, include accommodations, most meals at a set time and location (alcoholic beverages and specialty drinks are not included), excursions and activities set on the itinerary, and related transportation.
Authentic Colombia reserves the right to change the program schedule if necessary. If you choose to make other meal arrangements or not participate in any part of the group itinerary, no part of the package price is refundable due to non-participation.
We understand that not everyone may be able to physically participate in some of our scheduled activities and we would be happy to assist you with making arrangements for alternative activities under those circumstances. We are also more than happy to assist you in arranging additional activities. You will be responsible for the cost of alternative/additional activities and related transportation.
“Life happens” and sometimes we need to change plans.
For this international trip, we encourage that you purchase trip cancellation insurance in order that your trip fees are covered should unforeseen circumstances arise that would prevent you from traveling. It is required that you buy travel insurance and travelers health insurance with evacuation coverage.Most travel insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation. A few recommendations to compare: International SOS.com, WorldNomads.com or TravelGuard.com.
No refund will be provided for early departures or late arrivals.
If an event is cancelled by Authentic Colombia, full deposits and all payments made to date will be refunded, which shall be considered to constitute full settlement fees. Should this situation occur, guests will be allowed to reschedule for a future event at a discounted rate. Authentic Colombia cannot be held either liable or responsible for any additional personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to changes in itineraries or event cancellations expenses incurred.
Authentic Colombia (herein after referred to as “COMPANY”) acts only in capacity as a provider for the participant in all matters connected with yoga, exercise, sight-seeing excursions, lodging, dining and transportation, and as COMPANY holds itself free of responsibility for any damage occasioned by any cause. COMPANY will not be responsible for any damages, expenses or inconveniences caused by late departures or change of schedule, strikes or to their conditions, nor will be responsible for loss or damage to baggage or any of the participant’s belongings. All prices quoted are correct at time of printing and include the cost of operation of the events, and are subject to currency changes. COMPANY shall not be responsible for personal injury, death, accident, delay, loss, damage, irregularity or property damage as a result of force majeure or for any other losses or damages incurred by any person or event participants caused by any delay or change of itinerary or arising out of any act, including, but not limited to, any act of negligence, any person acting for or on behalf of COMPANY for event services, transportation, accommodation or sightseeing provider or any other person or entity rendering any of these services or accommodations being offered in connection with an event. This agreement supersedes all previous oral or written communications, representations, or agreements between the parties. Participants assume the risk involved when participating in foreign travel, yoga, and any and all activities and/or pursuits voluntarily undertaken while participating inan event. Participants agree that any and all disputes between Participants and COMPANY shall be governed by New Mexico state law. Participants agree to mediate any and all disputes prior to the institution of any litigation. In the event of any litigation between the Parties to this agreement involving their respective rights or obligations, such litigation shall take place in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the prevailing party shall be entitled to recovery of reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs of litigation. In regard to the stay during an event, COMPANY will provide safe, careful instruction and safe premises, but ask that each participant take personal responsibility for their own self-care and (in the unlikely case) for any injuries incurred during an event. With regards to yoga classes during the event, modifications are given to students with specific needs. If participants are unsure of their physical ability due to previous injuries, they should seek the advise of a healthcare practitioner beforehand and be sure to notify COMPANY before registering for an event. We at Authentic Colombia strive to create safe space and enjoyable experiences that promote peace and positivity, foster fairness and equality and nurture respect for all our guests, guides and people we interact with during an event. For the protection of our guests, guides and service providers, we stand by a strict “no tolerance policy” and reserve the right to refuse service to anyevent participant who displays behavior that causes harm to another - be it physical, mental, emotional and/or verbal and/or causes damage to any environment and/or structure. If COMPANY witnesses and/or receives verifiable reports from guests, guides or service providers of any harm caused to a person, environment or property, by an event participant, said retreat participant will be asked to leave theevent immediately, forfeiting all payments made for theirevent package and will receive no refund. Additionally, all expenses incurred as a result of having to leave theevent prior to its culmination are the sole responsibility of the guest being asked to leave.
