Small in size, extraordinary in craftsmanship, the Osonushi bag is one of the rarest and most refined pieces in our collection. Handwoven using the ancestral Osonushi technique, this bag is mastered by only a handful of artisans within the entire Wayuu Indigenous tribe. The technique is so intricate and demanding that these bags are not found anywhere else in the world. Each piece is a quiet masterpiece of tension, strength, and precision. Unlike our other bags- where the strap is attached after the body is completed- the bag and strap in the Osonushi design are woven as one continuous piece, requiring exceptional skill and physical strength. For this reason, these bags are created through intergenerational collaboration, with the guidance and support of senior artisans and grandfathers of the community. Made from 100% cotton, each Osonushi bag is machine washable and designed for daily use while remaining deeply special. It comfortably fits a cellphone, keys, lipstick, or a standard water bottle, and can be worn crossbody or over one shoulder. Every Osonushi bag is one of a kind. Patterns and color combinations vary, honoring the individuality of the artisan and the living tradition behind each piece.
